How To Get Started

Email membership@roanokenorthmomsclub.org.   We’ll send you an introductory newsletter and calendar, and answer your initial questions.

PLEASE NOTE:

MOMS Club of Roanoke North is one of three chapters in the Roanoke area: Roanoke North, Roanoke East and Roanoke West.  Our chapter covers Roanoke addresses in Botetourt County, also Daleville, Fincastle, Buchanan, Cloverdale, Troutville, and Blue Ridge.  MOMS Club of Roanoke West is for moms in the Salem and Southwest Roanoke County areas, Roanoke East is for moms in Roanoke City, Roanoke County, and Franklin County east of I-581; Vinton, and Moneta.  If you need contact information for Roanoke East, West or any other MOMS Club chapter, please email MOMS Club International at momsclub@aol.com.  Include your zip code so they can direct you to the chapter in your area.  If you are new to the area and not sure whether you belong in the East or West club, please email membership@roanokenorthmomsclub.org with your address and we will help you find your spot.

Monthly Meeting

At our monthly meeting you will get a sense of what the club does, hear about current activities and meet many other moms.  There is also usually a guest speaker or discussion topic.  You do not have to become a member in order to attend your first or second meeting.  Please contact our Membership VP and let her know to expect you.  She will be ready to welcome you and can find a “meeting buddy” for you who will show you around and answer your questions.  Your children may stay with you or play in the adjacent nursery under the supervision of other moms.  (If your child becomes fussy during a meeting, we ask that you go with him into the children’s room until he has quieted.)

We meet on the 2nd Monday of every month:

9:30am - doors open

10:00am - meeting starts

11:00am - social time

Annual Dues

Annual member dues are $20.  MOMS Club is an IRS-registered non-profit group.  All money collected is used exclusively for its programs, and projects.  The annual dues pay for supplies, copies, postage and other expenses.  You are invited to attend two events before joining the group.  If you would like to join MOMS Club but feel that the dues would be a hardship for your family, please talk to one of our officers about confidential options.
